氟维司群可用于在抗雌激素辅助治疗后或治疗过程中复发的，或是在抗雌激素治疗中进展的绝经后（包括自然绝经和人工绝经）雌激素受体阳性的局部晚期或转移性乳腺癌。

氟维司群为竞争性的雌激素受体拮抗剂，氟维司群阻断了雌激素的营养作用而本身没有任何部分激动（雌激素样）作用。其作用机制与下调雌激素受体（ER）蛋白水平有关。体外研究证实，氟维司群是他莫昔芬耐药以及雌激素敏感的人乳腺癌（MCF-7）细胞系生长的可逆性抑制制剂，在体外肿瘤研究中，氟维司群可延缓裸鼠体内人乳腺癌MCF-7细胞异种移植物的植入。氟维司群可抑制已植入的MCF-7异种移植物以及他莫昔芬耐药的乳腺肿瘤异种移植物的生长。

Fluvestrin is a competitive estrogen receptor antagonist. Fluvestrin blocks the nutritional effects of estrogen without any of its own partially stimulating (estrogen-like) effects. The mechanism of action is related to the down-regulation of estrogen receptor (ER) protein levels. In vitro studies have demonstrated that flurvestrin is a reversible inhibitor of the growth of tamoxifen-resistant and estrogen-sensitive human breast cancer (MCF-7) cell lines. In vitro tumor studies, flurvestrin delays the implantation of xenograft of human breast cancer MCF-7 cells in nude mice. Fluvestrine inhibited the growth of implanted MCF-7 xenografts as well as xenografts of tamoxifen-resistant breast tumors.

【印度代购提示，本品用法用量】

1.成年女性(包括老年妇女)：推荐剂量为每月给药一次，一次250mg.尚缺乏更高剂量下中国患者使用的安全有效性信息。

2.儿童及青少年：因尚未确定本品在儿童及青少年中的安全性和有效性，故不推荐在该年龄层中使用本品。

3.肾功能损害的患者：对于轻度至中度肾功能损害的患者(肌酐清除率≥30ml/min)，无需调整剂量。未在严重肾功能损害的患者(肌酐清除率<30ml/min)中评价本品的安全性和有效性，因此建议这些患者慎用。

4. 肝功能损害的患者：对于轻度至中度肝功能损害的患者无需调整剂量。但由于在这些患者中氟维司群的暴露可能增加，故应慎用本品。没有本品对于重度肝功能损害患者的研究资料。

4. Patients with liver function impairment: No dose adjustment is required for patients with mild to moderate liver function impairment. However, this product should be used with caution because of possible increased exposure to fluvestrin in these patients. There are no studies of this product in patients with severe liver impairment.

使用方法：臀部缓慢肌注。
